Techo(手帳) is a Japanese word which stands for notebook/daily planner as most people know, but there is more to it. Unlike the US, wherein notebook/daily planner are somewhat uncommon, most people use their laptop or cellphone for that. In Japan, Techo is considered to be a necessity to the extent that you can find it on almost everyone among different occupations, genders, and ages.
